Highways & Drainage Civil Engineer – Hybrid Role & Growth
Job summary
A leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer with a strong background in highways and drainage design to join their growing team in Leeds. This role offers a salary between £37,000 and £45,000, with hybrid working options. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of UK design standards. You’ll work on major UK infrastructure projects and support junior engineers.

- 3-7 years’ experience in civil, highways, or drainage engineering.
- Strong knowledge of UK design standards (DMRB, SuDS).
- Ability to deliver highway geometry and drainage layouts.
Responsibilities
- Deliver design work for S278, S38, S104 and wider infrastructure schemes.
- Produce highways and drainage designs from feasibility to detailed design.
- Support senior engineers and mentor juniors.
