We’re looking for a full-stack developer to join our small team and help us build‑out SRP, an internal ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system used to manage the design, fabrication, testing and eventual deployment of Spire’s satellites and ground stations.

You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on this pivotal system as it scales‑up to meet the challenges of our rapidly growing company. The features we build have a huge impact on a wide range of teams across the company, from Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing through to Launch and Ground Stations.

SRP is a Flask web‑app using Python3 with a PostgreSQL database; Jinja2 templating, Bootstrap and jQuery are some of the technologies used at the front end.

• Work with our users to gather requirements
• Design and implement new features based on those requirements
• Optimize and support existing functionality
• Plan and coordinate an incremental migration to newer technologies
• Maintain technical and user documentation
• Be on‑call and provide support to users of the system (within work hours)

• University degree in Computer Science or related field
• Professional software development experience
• Strong experience with an Object‑Oriented programming language
• Experience of the full software development lifecycle
• Strong experience with relational databases
• Proven ability to work across multiple teams to gather requirements
• Solid Linux skills (command line, shell scripting etc)
• Familiarity with web frameworks (e.g. Flask, Django)
• Strong experience with JavaScript

• Experience with Python
• Familiar with Docker, infrastructure as code, AWS and CI/CD tools
• Experience with automated testing
• Effective written communication
