Job summary

A financial institution based in Central London is seeking an experienced Database Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with MS SQL Server and SSIS, along with strong SQL programming skills. Responsibilities include developing new systems, supporting upgrades to software platforms, and liaising with the Finance department for seamless operations. The role requires office presence at least three days a week and offers a competitive salary of £55K - £70K.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with MS SQL Server and SSIS.
  • Experience in building data warehouses and reporting using SSRS.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse design concepts (Inmon or Kimball).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver new systems for automating and streamlining processes.
  • Support changes and upgrades to software platforms.
  • Act as primary contact for all technical questions related to in-house systems.
