Cheshire West and Chester Council is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join ourLeaving Care Team (Supporting Independence Team), a vital part of our Permanency Hub. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of looked after children across all our localities within Cheshire West and Chester.
About the Role
You will be working withyoung people aged 15 to 25who are looked after by the local authority. Your key responsibilities will include:
We are looking for candidates with a proven track record inassessment and pathway planning with looked after childrenand significant experience working withteenagers and young adults. While not essential, knowledge ofDeprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)and working withUnaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC)would be a distinct advantage.
