Role: Site Manager
Sector: Onshore Wind - Civils
Location: Shetland Islands (Applicants must be local or willing to self-fund travel & accommodation)
Start Date: November 2025
Duration: Until Summer 2026
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8-hour days
Rate: £420 - £450 per day (All-Inclusive, Outside IR35 - Ltd Co. / CIS)
Clearance Required: DBS, Right to Work, Employment History

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced BoP Coordinator to support the delivery of civil works on a major onshore wind project in the Shetland Islands. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating civil Balance of Plant (BoP) contractors, ensuring safe and efficient execution of works, and maintaining strong communication with project and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee civil BoP contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to uphold HSEQ requirements.
• Support the Project Management Team with daily reporting, progress tracking, and issue resolution.
• Perform general project administration duties, including documentation, permits, and site records.
• Liaise with the technical back-office team to ensure alignment on design, schedule, and quality.
• Foster a collaborative and proactive site culture, promoting teamwork and accountability.

Requirements:

• Ideally IOSH / NEBOSH or similar Safety Certification
• Proven experience coordinating civil BoP works on onshore wind projects.
• Strong understanding of construction safety standards and audit processes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote location.
• Must have or be able to obtain: DBS clearance, Right to Work in the UK, and verified employment history.

Additional Information:

• This is a site-based role on the Shetland Islands. Candidates must be local or willing to cover their own travel and accommodation for the duration of the contract.
• The role is Outside IR35, suitable for Ltd Company or CIS engagements.
