To compete, owners need exceptional digital marketing, outstanding reviews, competitive pricing, and broad distribution across every relevant travel site-global, regional, or niche. Most are falling dangerously behind. Compare the digital presence of an independent owner to a global hotel chain like Marriott or Hilton-the gap is staggering.

Shopify solved this for e-commerce. Travelnest is solving it for holiday rental owners.

The Product Engineering team at Travelnest is on a mission to level the playing field for holiday rental owners. We're relentlessly focused on delivering best-in-class financial outcomes for every host who partners with us.

We're a team of curious, driven generalists who run toward the hardest, most meaningful problems. One week, we're designing smarter pricing algorithms. The next, we're building tools that help owners optimise their photos and better understand their reach. The week after, we might be rethinking how we synchronise tens of thousands of listings across platforms-fast, reliably, and at scale.

We're a small, close-knit team that punches well above its weight. We care deeply about building exceptional products. You'll be joining at a pivotal moment in our journey-with huge ownership, fast learning, and meaningful product decisions from day one.

What you'll be doing
  • End-to-end ownership - from idea to launch. You lead the charge, collaborate closely, and ship fast. You don't just influence the direction, you build and drive towards it.
  • Working full stack. We focus on high-leverage work where it matters most. That means a lot of learning on-the-go.
  • Obsessing over the customer. You'll work directly with hosts, our Property Experts, and designers to deeply understand the product this industry needs most.
  • Improving how we work. We have a ton of legacy systems to refactor and simplify. A mixture of great and not so great CI/CD and, a patchwork of patterns from years of experimentation.

Our stack

We actively use:
  • Typescript with Postgres as our core stack.
  • React Native with Expo for our Mobile App.
  • React with Vercel for our Web App.
  • AWS for hosting our infrastructure.
  • Terraform for infrastructure.
  • GitHub Actions for testing and deployment.
  • Sentry and Grafana for observability.
  • OpenAI for LLM integrations.

We also work with:
  • Python and Flask which underpin most of our legacy estate.
  • We actively maintain services following a number of legacy patterns.

What we offer
  • Salary between £60,000 and £80,000
