Are you an experienced onsite AV professional ready to step into a leadership role Rafferty Resourcing is recruiting for an AV Team Lead to oversee a high-performing onsite Audio Visual operation for a prestigious corporate environment in Central London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced client-facing setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional AV and video conferencing support.
As the AV Team Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of onsite AV support ensuring seamless operation of meeting spaces events and video conferencing systems. Youll lead mentor and coordinate a team of technicians while acting as the key onsite contact for the client. This position blends hands-on technical expertise with team leadership service excellence and client relationship management.
- Lead mentor and support a team of onsite AV technicians
- Manage daily operations to ensure full coverage across rotating shifts
- Act as the primary onsite contact for all AV services requests and escalations
- Oversee the setup and smooth running of meetings and corporate events
- Ensure service delivery aligns with SLAs KPIs and client expectations
- Perform quality checks equipment audits and preventative maintenance
- Work closely with IT facilities and external vendors on escalations and upgrades
- Support new technology rollouts and provide user training where required
- Ensure compliance with all onsite health safety and security procedures
- Coordinate staff rotas holiday cover and shift patterns
The AV team operates a rotating weekly shift pattern.
- Strong technical expertise across AV & VC systems (Teams Rooms Yealink Poly Crestron QSC etc.)
- Proven experience supervising or leading a small AV team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational ability with a proactive solutions-driven mindset
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities
- Knowledge of AV-over-IP or basic networking principles (advantageous)
- Professional approachable and confident in a corporate environment
AVIXA CTS / CTS-I certification (highly desirable)
