A leading funeral services provider is looking for a Transactional Processing Manager to modernize finance operations in Sutton Coldfield. This pivotal role involves leading teams across Accounts Payable and Receivable while enhancing efficiency through automation. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in transactional finance, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of financial controls. Location: Sutton Coldfield - Hybrid (3 days office-based, 2 days home working)
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum
We are looking for an accomplished and forward‑thinking Transactional Processing Manager to lead and modernise our core transactional finance operations. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury, while strengthening controls, embedding automation, and delivering continuous improvement at scale.
This role offers the opportunity to shape a high‑performing finance operation that underpins Dignity's financial strength and long‑term performance.
Reporting to the Director of Finance Operations, you will sit within the Finance leadership team and lead the teams responsible for day‑to‑day transactional finance delivery. You will combine strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership, setting direction, developing capability and ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of our transactional processes.
You will play a key role in strengthening governance, improving efficiency and partnering with stakeholders across Finance and IT to modernise systems and ways of working.
