A leading HVAC contractor in Solihull is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join their team. The role offers a competitive salary, paid door-to-door travel, and various benefits including a £90 call-out payment and opportunities for professional development. Candidates must hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and have a strong problem-solving ability. Regular overtime is also available.

Salary: £18ph- £24ph (depending on skill level) Paid door to door + Overtime + £90 call out + Van

This forward-thinking and progressive company are looking to recruit an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Engineers, with a positive and pro-active approach to ensure effective service delivery to their clients.
They work for a prestigious customer base in a wide range of sectors including pharmaceuticals, petrochemical, telecoms, education, IT, retail, healthcare & local authorities.
- Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutions
- Where possible provide a first-time fix response
- Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance
- Coordinate and control all documents associated with reactive & planned preventative maintenance works
- Liaise closely with the client to maintain excellent stakeholder relationships
- Work in a safe and controlled manner following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client specific site requirements
- Take part in the on-call rota to support the business achieve its 24/7/365 response
- A highly experienced Refrigeration & Air conditioning engineer, with a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Refrigeration & Air conditioning, you will be F-Gas/EN 378 compliant
- An individual who has previously worked with VRV's, Coldrooms, Close Control and Chilled water systems and heat pumps.
- You will be used to working unsupervised
- A high level of interpersonal skills, you will have strong networking skills, building strong stakeholder relationships at a variety of levels with our wide range of clients
- You will be confident in your own ability
- Strong problem-solving skills, you will have a “can do” attitude
- Ideally you will have good electrical competence including the ability to read wiring schematics and test control circuits
- Full Driving licence
- Please note you must be able to achieve a DBS certificate
