A leading recruitment agency is hiring a Tax Manager for their Japan Global Mobility Service based in London. This full-time, permanent position focuses on managing UK tax compliance and providing advisory services for expatriates. The ideal candidate should possess strong UK tax experience, be fluent in Japanese and English (JLPT N1 equivalent), and hold an ACA/ATT/CTA qualification. The role also includes maintaining client relationships and coaching junior staff, offering a hybrid work model with minimum office presence required.

Tax Manager – Japan Global Mobility Service - What You’ll be Doing:
- Build, maintain and lead strong relationships with the clients.
- Working closely with various teams to ensure a proactive service delivery.
- Handle VIP clients and advisory projects
- Responsibility for managing the UK tax compliance and working closely with the Centre of Excellence
- Carry out arrival/departure briefings for senior assignees.
- Lead, support, and coach junior staff
Tax Manager – Japan Global Mobility Service - The Skills You’ll Need to Succeed:
- UK Tax experience
- Fluent in Japanese (equivalent to JLPT N1) & English
- ACA/ATT/CTA qualified or equivalent
- Experience in expatriate tax servicesUnderstanding of Japanese professional practices and business customs
- Experience with Big 4 would be a major Plus
