Job Title: Quality Assurance Assistant
Location: Burgh-Le-Marsh
Pay Rate: £12.30 - £13.30 per hour
We are recruiting on behalf of our well-established client for a Quality Assurance Assistant to join their team at their Packing Centre in Burgh-Le-Marsh. This role plays a key part in maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Completing records and maintaining equipment
- Monitoring pest control measures
- Ensuring correct packaging is used
- Conducting traceability checks
- Ensuring all quality and hygiene standards are met
- Assist in the effective implementation of quality systems
- Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and requirements
- Maintain an \'audit-ready\' condition in the Packing Centre
- Liaise with external auditors as needed
- Work collaboratively with the QA team to conduct product and process tests
- Maintain site hygiene policies in line with the Quality Manual
- Regularly inspect ungraded and packed product warehouses
- Complete traceability for machine seconds pallets during your shift
- Check and maintain pest control devices as per schedule
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly check sheets in coordination with the QA team
- Report any hygiene policy infringements to the relevant Packing Centre Manager
- Previous experience in a quality assurance or food production environment is beneficial but not essential
