Job Title: Quality Assurance Assistant

Location: Burgh-Le-Marsh

Pay Rate: £12.30 - £13.30 per hour

We are recruiting on behalf of our well-established client for a Quality Assurance Assistant to join their team at their Packing Centre in Burgh-Le-Marsh. This role plays a key part in maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Completing records and maintaining equipment
  • Monitoring pest control measures
  • Ensuring correct packaging is used
  • Conducting traceability checks
  • Ensuring all quality and hygiene standards are met
Main Duties
  1. Assist in the effective implementation of quality systems
  2. Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and requirements
  3. Maintain an \'audit-ready\' condition in the Packing Centre
  4. Liaise with external auditors as needed
  5. Work collaboratively with the QA team to conduct product and process tests
  6. Maintain site hygiene policies in line with the Quality Manual
  7. Regularly inspect ungraded and packed product warehouses
  8. Complete traceability for machine seconds pallets during your shift
  9. Check and maintain pest control devices as per schedule
  10. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly check sheets in coordination with the QA team
  11. Report any hygiene policy infringements to the relevant Packing Centre Manager
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a quality assurance or food production environment is beneficial but not essential
