We are recruiting for a Proofreader/Quality Control Operator to join our team. Experience not necessary, just good computer skills! This role can be worked on a hybrid basis, 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Checking digital files accurately in accordance with the material covered in the QA manual, including content, colour, and printability.
• Proofreading data and correcting where relevant
• Ensuring files conform to the client’s corporate guidelines (style)
• Checking images and graphics match the client’s brief of colour.
• Checking that files meet the printer’s specifications for technical setup (e.g., size of the copy, line thickness, barcode sizing)
• Proficiency in relevant software such as Acrobat and Automation Engine, and correct utilization of required systems.
• Staying up to date with all relevant guidelines for the assigned client and maintaining knowledge of other clients.
• Supporting the artwork department with brand awareness and following the hero process.
• Meeting deadlines in conjunction with the Production Manager and actively participating in the team to promote a 'right first time' approach.

• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing tasks.
