Our client is a market leader with an international customer-base, serving a broad range of customer sectors. Products include flexo & digital printed self-adhesive & in-mould labels, sleeves, packaging, cartons, premium decoration, creative design, and branding. Ethical and environmental responsibility is at the heart of all global operations.

They are now looking for a dedicated Quality Control Officer to support production excellence and uphold product standards. You will play a key role in maintaining quality throughout all stages of production.

Primary Duties

  • Inspection & Verification - Carry out in-process and final product inspections to verify conformity with technical and aesthetic specifications.
  • Record Keeping - Complete and maintain detailed quality logs, including non-conformance reports, audit records, and corrective action documentation.
  • Production Oversight - Observe manufacturing activities to ensure compliance with operational procedures, hygiene standards, and customer protocols.
  • Issue & Complaint Resolution - Detect and document quality issues or deviations.
  • Log and investigate customer complaints - Support root cause investigations and assist in implementing corrective/preventative actions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution and customer follow-up.
  • Calibration & Equipment - Confirm that measurement tools and inspection devices are functioning correctly and are regularly calibrated.
  • Interdepartmental Support - Act as a liaison between quality, production, and service teams to manage and resolve quality-related challenges.
  • Training - Assist in training production and operational staff on quality procedures and incident handling protocols.
  • Improvement Initiatives - Identify trends in non-conformance, suggest solutions, and participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance overall product integrity and reduce waste.

Candidates Profile:

  • Sharp eye for detail and accuracy
  • Solid understanding of industry-relevant quality frameworks (e.g., ISO, BRC)
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Able to work autonomously or within a team
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets and quality tracking software

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Background in a quality-focused role, preferably within printing, packaging, or manufacturing
  • Demonstrated experience with customer complaint handling and resolution
  • Familiarity with inspection tools, technical specs, and documentation
  • Exposure to print and label processes is advantageous
  • Training in internal auditing or quality systems is a plus
