MAINTEANANCE ENGINEER

A respected manufacturing business in the UK is looking for a skilled Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their maintenance team. The role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on diverse machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and a strong background in maintenance. Due to continued investment and growth, we are now looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our long standing maintenance team.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a wide range of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatics. This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern, varied equipment and play a vital role in keeping production running smoothly.
- Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across the plant.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and basic electrical faults.
- Working across a diverse range of machinery and production equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and maintenance efficiency.
- Apprentice trained in mechanical engineering or a relevant field.
- Formal qualifications : NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong multi skilled maintenance background.
- Experience in manufacturing, production or process environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with solid fault finding skills.
