This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for quality and continuous improvement within a precision engineering environment.
- Carry out dimensional and visual inspection of precision components
- Use a range of manual inspection tools (micrometers, verniers, height gauges, etc.)
- Complete FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports) accurately and on time
- Operate and program CMMs - experience in programming would be highly advantageous
- Work collaboratively with the production team to maintain high-quality standards
- Support continuous improvement and contribute to a positive team culture
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a precision engineering inspection role
- Strong understanding of manual inspection equipment
- Experience with FAIRs
- CMM operation/programming skills (programming experience beneficial)
- A proactive team player with a willingness to learn and help others
- Competitive salary - £37,000 per year
