Job Title

Quality Manager – Packaging Manufacturing

Location: Sheffield

Salary: Up to £54,000 per annum (DOE)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

As Quality Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that products meet customer expectations and comply with industry and regulatory standards. You’ll lead the quality function, manage audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all quality assurance and control processes within production.
  • Maintain and develop the company’s QMS (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
  • Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and readiness for customer or certification audits.
  • Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and R&D to improve quality performance and reduce waste.
  • Train and mentor quality team members.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers and suppliers on all quality-related matters.
About You

We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills.

Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Quality Management role within manufacturing, ideally packaging, plastics, or print.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 (experience with BRC Packaging or ISO 14001 is advantageous).
  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and team development.
