Job summary
A consulting firm in the West Midlands is seeking a Project Support Officer to assist in the delivery of the Families First national programme within the Children’s Transformation team. This interim role offers hybrid working and a competitive daily rate. The ideal candidate should have proven project management support experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office and Power BI. This position could extend from an initial 3-6 months to over a year.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Officer, Business Support or in Project Management support.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are necessary.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential project support to a Senior Project Manager.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including action logs and risk registers.
- Prepare reports and presentations for governance boards and programme updates.
- Monitor progress against milestones and update project plans.
- Assist in developing dashboards and performance reporting tools.
