A leading transport consultancy in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Transport Planner / Principal Transport Planner to manage client relationships and guide less experienced staff. This role involves preparing transport assessments and highway designs for development projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Transport Planning or a related field, along with extensive experience in transport planning. Join a dynamic team focused on innovative transport solutions.
Qualificações
- Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in Transport Planning, Engineering or related discipline.
- Extensive experience in transport planning.
Responsabilidades
- Manage internal and external client relationships.
- Prepare proposals for development and regeneration projects.
- Guide and review work of less experienced staff.
- Undertake highway design and prepare Environmental Statements.
Conhecimentos
Formação académica
You will be involved in the management of internal and external client relationships and the preparation of proposals. You will also guide and review the work of less experienced staff.
The workload of the team is diverse, including:
- Extensive capability and understanding of Transport Development Planning and Policy.
- Preparation of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Transport Strategies and Access Studies for development and regeneration projects.
- Highway design, including public realm schemes, junction and road designs, cycle infrastructure.
- Preparation of Environmental Statements.
- Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in Transport Planning, Engineering, Town Planning, Geography, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in transport planning
- Management of development planning projects.
- Preparation of fee proposals.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
