Job summary
A main Civil Contractor is seeking a Utilities Project Manager to manage projects across the UK focusing on civil and utilities engineering. The role involves risk management, stakeholder communication, and overseeing project delivery. Candidates should have a degree and experience in large projects. The position is based in London with travel to project sites. A competitive salary of up to £60K is offered.

- Knowledge of traditional construction activities.

- Management of emerging risks and opportunities through the project life cycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in activities within the immediate team.
- Lead and develop a high performing team focused on delivering outputs.
- Initiate and develop communication with key stakeholders.
- Progress reporting against time, cost and quality.
- Commercial management and forecasting.
- Delivery of the project against time, quality and cost requirements.
- Act as the main point of contact managing contractors and suppliers.

We are currently seeking a Utilities Project Manager to work for a main Civil Contractor who works across the UK specializing in a variety of civil/utilities engineering sectors with a primary focus on Utilities based projects. Role will be based in London with the candidate expected to travel intermittently to various project sites when required.
- Management of emerging risks and opportunities through the project life cycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in activities within the immediate team and wider team.
- Lead and develop a high performing team focused on briefing and delivering specified outputs in an efficient, effective and commercially sound manner.
- Initiate and develop communication and strong working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Progress reporting against time, cost and quality.
- Commercial management and forecasting.
- Delivery of the project against time, quality and cost requirements.
- Act as the main and central point of contact managing contractors and suppliers to deliver best value solutions to agreed programmes.
- Degree level education; experience on large projects; supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of traditional construction activities.
