Job summary
A manufacturing company in North Lincolnshire is seeking a Management Accountant to oversee financial processes, manage supplier rebates, and support the Financial Director. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial analysis and reconciliation, and will play a key role in mentoring junior colleagues. The job offers significant responsibilities including preparing management accounts and enhancing KPI reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience in managing supplier rebates and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ability to support financial directors in management accounting.
- Proven experience in analyzing expense invoices.
Responsibilities
- Lead management of supplier rebates and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly management accounts with the Financial Director.
- Coach junior finance colleagues and support finance-related projects.
Skills
I am delighted to be partnering with a manufacturing business based in North Lincolnshire on their search for a newly created Management Accountant role!
- Lead the management of supplier rebates, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and allocations
- Support the Financial Director in preparing monthly management accounts and conducting general ledger analysis
- Produce and circulate monthly sales performance reports to senior stakeholders
- Serve as a key contact for stakeholders regarding financial queries and reporting matters
- Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
- Manage inter-company recharges and ensure correct processing
- Maintain and enhance KPI reporting frameworks
- Review and analyse expense invoices for accuracy and compliance
- Provide holiday cover and ad‑hoc support across the Management Accounts team
- Publish daily performance league tables for internal visibility
- Assist with finance‑related projects and initiatives led by the Financial Director
- Contribute to year‑end audit preparation and statutory reporting activities
- Drive improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting tools
- Participate in cross‑functional projects such as system upgrades, cost analysis, and margin reviews
- Coach and mentor junior finance colleagues
