Job description
  • Friday / Days Immediately Start Available 6 month fixed-term contract Our client based in the Deeside area is currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

As the Accounts Assistant you will provide flexible cover for the accounting functions across the business.

This is a full-time office based role.

Performance Objectives

Ensure invoices and payments are processed correctly and on time.

Perform high volume data entries and processing, on a daily basis, ensuring invoices are properly authorised, coded and posted onto the system in a timely fashion.

Follow up to ensure any missing invoices are requested and received and any queries resolved.

Deal with supplier queries in a timely manner as they arise.

Build and maintain relationships with those people within the company that order goods.

Raise manual invoices and credit notes on a weekly basis ensuring they have been approved appropriately.

Deal with any queries arising from employees.

Complete any other admin duties as and when required.

Person Specification

particularly Excel.

Experience of working in an accounting environment.

Working to tight deadlines.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Ability to form good relationships with both internal and external customers.

GSCE Maths and English Grade C or above (Mandatory).
