An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Mental Health Nurse ( fixed term - 12 months) to join our Community Mental Health Team based in Bishop Auckland. The role involves supporting adults living with mental health needs, the service offers assessment and treatment within the community setting with the primary aim of promoting both recovery and living well.
Within the Dales Community Intervention teamwe have mixed roles, from Triage, Tel and Face to Face Assessments, One to One ungoverned interventions and delivering groups, but also working alongside our patients withenduring mental health problems and long term medication.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to develop into a community role within a team of supportive and experienced professionals. You will demonstrate excellent assessment skills, interpersonal, and team working skills and be able to work collaboratively with a range of statutory and third sector agencies.
