Worksop, Nottinghamshire – North Notts College, Worksop

Hours: Full time (37 hours per week, all year round)

Duration: Permanent

Salary: Up to £32,199 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) plus benefits.

As part of our curriculum team you will deliver outstanding teaching and assessment in Levels 1-5 Health & Social Care, motivate students, support them to achieve their potential and create creative resources to inspire outstanding learning. You will also monitor and track learner progress to promote positive outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and assessment for Levels 1-5 Health & Social Care.
  • Prepare lesson plans, resources and assess student work.
  • Set SMART targets to enable students to reach their potential.
  • Develop creative teaching resources and employ practical, theoretical and digital methods.
  • Monitor and record learner progress to promote positive outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve strategic and organisational objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Hold a vocational qualification at Level 3 or above.
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification and assessors award, or be willing to work towards.
  • Hold Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths, or be willing to work towards.
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Be able to bring the subject to life using combined practical, theoretical and digital methods.
Department Info

You will work as part of the curriculum team at North Notts, and work closely with and take direction from our Curriculum Team Leaders. You will be line managed by the Curriculum Manager.
