A local government authority in Nottingham is offering an opportunity for a Service Leader to manage and develop Commercial Waste services. The ideal candidate should have experience in waste management and team leadership, alongside a strong understanding of legislation. The role supports hybrid working but requires onsite presence for four days a week. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are included.
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Worker Type: Hybrid Worker
Salary: Starting Salary is £40,777 (Level one) rising to £44,075 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

The post holder will lead, manage and develop the activities of a range of Commercial Waste services across Nottingham and Derby to ensure efficient and safe delivery of the service for customers. As a service leader you will be expected to demonstrate our core theme behaviours of Leading People, Equality Diversity & Inclusion, Change & Innovation and Collaboration.
The post is classed as a hybrid worker; however, there is an expectation that the post holder will be in the office 4 days per week.
