The post holder will lead, manage and develop the activities of a range of Commercial Waste services across Nottingham and Derby to ensure efficient and safe delivery of the service for customers. As a service leader you will be expected to demonstrate our core theme behaviours of Leading People, Equality Diversity & Inclusion, Change & Innovation and Collaboration.

The post is classed as a hybrid worker; however, there is an expectation that the post holder will be in the office 4 days per week.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in waste and recycling management.
• Experience in leading and managing a team
• In-depth knowledge of waste and recycling legislation, policies and programmes
• Ability to work autonomously with confidence and be able to work well as part of a team
• Proficient in IT skills in Microsoft Office
