School HR Business Partner

Due to an internal development, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated HR Business Partner to provide a thorough HR service to a thriving partnership of schools in Oxford. This is a great role for a capable and forward-thinking HR professional with school experience who relishes a challenge and wants to enjoy a culture of continued improvement.

The client is looking for a dedicated and competent HR professional with school experience, combined with a positive attitude and a willingness to become involved in academic life. Requirements include and are not limited to:

• Essential: Proven and demonstrable experience working in a school's HR environment.
• A successful track record in managing complex employee relations cases.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
• Either an existing HR Business Partner or an aspiring HR professional ready to take the next step.
• A strong understanding of current education HR legislation and best practice.

This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week spent at our central team office working alongside the HR and payroll team; and the remainder of your working time spent visiting schools or working from home.

Hours of work: FLEXIBLE. Full-time and part-time options are available, including term-time working or all-year-round (52 weeks per annum). The client is ideally looking for a minimum of 4 full days per week or 30 hours across the week.

Our client offers educational development for students.

The successful candidate will have previous experience as an HR practitioner, preferably within the education sector, with a proven track record of handling complex employee relations issues and casework. A driving licence and access to a vehicle for traveling between schools are required.

The office is based in North Oxford, with parking available.
