I am currently working with an award-winning Leeds firm that are seeking a Solicitor with experience in handling Claimant Clinical Negligence matters.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and motivated individual to play a key role in the growth and development of the firm’s expanding Clinical Negligence department.
- Manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims from inception to settlement, including both pre- and post-litigation matters.
- Conduct thorough case investigations, gather evidence, and liaise with medical experts.
- Progress claims in accordance with the CPR and relevant Pre-Action Protocols.
- Negotiate settlements effectively and professionally.
- Strong litigation experience.
- Excellent understanding of the CPR and the Pre-Action Protocol for the Resolution of Clinical Disputes.
- Proven experience of handling a variety of complex clinical negligence claims from inception to conclusion.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Experience working to targets and KPIs.
- Experience using the Proclaim case management system.
- Experience training junior staff in clinical negligence matters.
- Exposure to working with marketing teams to support departmental growth.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience handling Claimant Clinical Negligence claims.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding client care skills.
- Strong communication and literacy skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
