Job summary
A prominent recruitment agency is seeking a role focused on leading the property acquisitions programme in the Haringey area. This position involves identifying market opportunities and managing negotiations for financial viability. The candidate will act as a primary contact for vendors and develop strategies to meet acquisition targets. Interested individuals should send their CV for consideration.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Council's acquisitions programme in the Haringey area.
- Identify new market opportunities for property acquisitions.
- Manage the statutory right of first refusal function for the Council.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet acquisition targets.
- Act as the primary contact for property sale inquiries to the Council.
- Conduct negotiations on all acquisitions to ensure financial viability.
- To lead on and be responsible for the successful day to day delivering of the Council's acquisitions programme, primarily in the Haringey area.
- To identify and develop new market opportunities to secure properties for acquisition.
- To lead on and be responsible for the successful day to day delivering of the statutory right of first refusal function for Haringey Council
- To create, design, implement and deliver the strategy to ensure acquisition targets are met to ensure a supply of housing.
- To act as a first point of contact for all enquiries regarding property sales to the Council and to be responsible for initiating all contact with potential vendors.
- To act as a single point of contact to all potential vendors from initial enquiry through to post completion matters.
- To instruct valuation reports and any other technical property and other reports as necessary with third party providers and/ or internal technical departments.
- To be responsible for ensuring robust negotiations take place on all acquisitions to demonstrate value for money and financial viability to Haringey Council.
