Test Automation Engineer (DV Clearance)

Position Description

We are currently seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our Secure Innovation & Advisory team, working collaboratively with clients to deliver impactful solutions.

Please note, due to the highly secure nature of the project, this role is open only to UK Nationals who hold or are eligible for High-Level Clearance (HLC). While there is some flexibility for remote or hybrid work, onsite attendance at the specified location(s) will be required for secure system access.

Your future duties and responsibilities
As an Automation Framework Engineer within the SDI business unit, you will apply your technical expertise to create and maintain automation environments. These environments will enable our customers to validate their applications and services, linking into and providing ongoing support from our infrastructure project. Your work and developments will allow our clients to focus on more unique problems to increase their speed to market.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Design, develop & maintain the frameworks and automation environments.
2. Work with testers to ensure their scripts run and that results integrate with dashboards.
3. Participate in agile ceremonies, including team meetings, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
4. Participate in knowledge sharing sessions involving the team, our partners and our clients.

1. Hands on experience at deploying virtualised workloads with L3/L4 networking.
2. Skilled in configuration and automation tools such as Robot Framework, Go, vCentre Networks.
3. Experience of RedHat or CentOS Linux (System Admin and Bash) and or Windows (System Admin and PowerShell).
4. Use of tooling such as Jenkins, InfluxDB and Grafana.
5. Experience of containerisation and orchestration technologies e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.

1. Experience of infrastructure engineering on Cloud platforms and technologies e.g. such as AWS Cloud Practitioner.
2. Understanding of software and infrastructure testing.
3. Understanding of test management tools, e.g. TestRail and or X-Ray.
4. Creation and configuration of reporting dashboards with Splunk and or ELK stack.
