Job description

A leading global fund administration provider is seeking an experienced Director to join their team in their Jersey office.

The candidate will be a key member of the leadership team, working together to achieve strategic and financial success, and managing the challenges of a dynamic and fast-growing business.

You will play an important role in helping the business reach its full potential. As Director and Operational Lead of the Fund Services Teams, you will be responsible for managing key client relationships through effective team leadership to deliver superior service in the marketplace.

You will oversee the implementation of strategic business plans and recommendations to enhance financial performance and identify new business opportunities, ensuring sustainable growth. Working closely with the Business Development team in other jurisdictions, you will serve as a senior client contact for day-to-day queries and issue resolution. You will participate in client fee quotes, negotiations, regular reviews, and lead or contribute to new client proposals and onboarding processes. Additionally, you will manage the performance and development of your direct reports and oversee operational activities of non-direct reports.

Candidates should hold ACA/ACCA, CISI, or ICSA/CGI qualifications and possess significant PQE in the Financial Services Sector, particularly in fund administration and/or accounting. Candidates must have sound technical knowledge of professional services, demonstrated supervision of teams, and experience managing major client relationships. An entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative approach, solution-oriented critical thinking, high integrity, and dependability are essential qualities.
