Duties as Geography Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and interactive geography lessons across Key Stages 3,4 and 5.
• Encourage students to explore global issues, physical landscapes, and human-environment interactions.
• Develop students' analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Use a variety of teaching methods, including fieldwork and technology, to enhance learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the Geography curriculum.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as field trips, eco-clubs, and school events.

Ideal Geography Teacher:

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Geography in a primary/secondary school setting.
• Is passionate about geography and making it relevant and engaging for students.
• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Geography Teacher.
• Is committed to professional development and teamwork.
