Business Development Manager – E-commerce Sales

Location: Leicester (On-site, with regular UK-wide travel)

Our client is a growing digital commerce provider based in Leicester, offering advanced e-commerce technology and services to B2B and B2C brands across the UK. With a collaborative team culture and ambitious expansion plans, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business at the forefront of e-commerce innovation in a hands-on sales role.

The company delivers cutting-edge e-commerce platforms, fulfilment solutions, and sales optimisation services to clients in the retail, wholesale, and direct-to-consumer sectors. Their solutions help businesses improve online conversion, scale operations, and boost digital revenue across the UK and beyond.

Minimum requirements:

  1. At least 5 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within e-commerce, digital marketing, or SaaS
  2. Strong track record of hitting sales targets, generating new business, and managing end-to-end sales cycles
  3. Understanding of B2B and B2C e-commerce environments, platforms, and customer behaviour
  4. Confident communicator with excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  5. Comfortable with frequent travel for client meetings and events across the UK
  6. CRM experience (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and strong IT literacy
  7. Desirable: Familiarity with cross-border e-commerce, logistics, or marketplaces such as Shopify, Amazon, etc.
  8. On-site role based in Leicester with travel opportunities
  9. Travel expenses covered for UK client visits
