A community health service organization is looking for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to provide specialized care to patients in Leicester and surrounding areas. The ideal applicant will have experience in healthcare assistance, be capable of performing manual handling, and must have a valid UK driving license to travel. The Integrated Community Specialist Palliative Care Team has a rare and exciting opportunity for a Senior Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our team of specialists.
Our specialist HCAs deliver care and support to patients, their carers, and the people important to them.
We are looking for an experienced HCA with an interest and passion in caring for patients in the community that have complex palliative care and end of life needs.
As per the person specification, you will need to be physically capable of performing the role, which will include the manual handling of clients/service users.

As a Community Specialist Healthcare Assistant, you will need a car, a full UK driving licence, and insurance to cover you using your vehicle for business purposes - our patients live across all of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, therefore you will be required to travel across this whole region. Mileage expenses will be paid.
