We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and proactive School Caretaker on behalf of a major client. As a vital member of the school community, the caretaker plays a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. This hands-on caretaker role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

• Daily opening and closing of the school premises, an essential caretaker duty
• Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks as the go-to caretaker
• Ensuring the school grounds are clean, safe, and presentable, core to the caretaker's responsibilities
• Monitoring key systems including heating, lighting, and alarms
• Assisting with room setup for school events and activities, where the caretaker's support is crucial
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times

• Previous experience working as a School Caretaker
• Basic DIY and maintenance skills suitable for a school environment
• A strong sense of responsibility and pride in your role as a caretaker
• Clear communication and sound organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the wider team
• A flexible, positive attitude that reflects the values of a committed caretaker
