A leading healthcare consultancy is seeking a Consultant to support projects related to healthcare transformation. The role involves managing workstreams, producing client-ready materials, and engaging with clients. Success in this position requires strong analytical and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of healthcare systems. This is a remote position with access to the London office, offering a competitive salary of £42,500 per annum and additional benefits including private healthcare and a pension scheme.

As a Consultant, you will contribute across Baxendales core areas of work. Projects often span multiple disciplines, you will be expected to understand how different elements connect, tailoring your approach to the context and needs of each client.
You will develop a good understanding of the UK health sector, particularly community health, mental health and primary care. You will be able to discuss key trends, challenges and opportunities, and communicate Baxendales services with confidence.
You will live and demonstrate Baxendales values in all aspects of work: being curious, accountable, collaborative, trustworthy, kind and supportive.
Typically 24 years experience in a junior consultant, analyst or equivalent role with focus on healthcare, or relevant experience working within a healthcare organisation with a desire to move into consultancy.
Experience of working in client-facing roles (internal or external) on small projects or defined workstreams within larger programmes.
Exposure to one or more of the following within a healthcare context: strategy, estates, bids, partnership structures, investment, programme management, productivity and quality improvement.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure and communicate complex information clearly.
Confident using digital tools and AI to work efficiently.
Knowledge of healthcare systems and how different elements connect.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to build rapport quickly.
Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting your approach to different contexts.
