A large healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an experienced Health Care Support Worker to join their out of hours evening service in Glasgow. This role involves supporting District Nursing teams in delivering high-quality patient care in the community. The ideal candidate will have experience in a community setting, a clean driving license, and the ability to work flexibly across multiple locations. This position offers part-time hours and requires adherence to company policies promoting inclusivity and flexibility.

The hours of this post are 3 evenings per week (1630-2130) including weekends and public holidays.
Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Health Care Support Worker to join our out of hours evening service in Renfrewshire based in Milend Centre, Paisley.
The post holder will support the OOH Evening District Nursing team in delivering care to patients within Renfrewshire HSCP, providing accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective nursing service to adults living in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the District Nursing Teams and assist in the implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for patients and their careers, under the supervision of the District Nurse. They will contribute to health improvement initiatives to individuals and families on the caseload and to the wider community.
The post holder will be supported by the District Nursing Team to work towards completion of local competency framework and Mandatory Induction Standards for new Healthcare Support Workers (HCSWs) Workbook if they have not already completed.
The post covers a large geographical area supporting patients in their home environment. The post holder is required to work flexibly across this geographical area and District Nursing Teams. A clean driving license is essential and access to a car is required.
Recent experience working within a community setting is desirable.
