Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join Tier 1 contractors in London. This role involves ensuring financial accuracy and lead commercial performance on flagship high-rise projects valued up to £300m. Candidates should have a degree in Quantity Surveying and at least 5 years' experience in large-scale projects. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in cost management systems are essential. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including a salary up to £75,000.

- Assist with forecasting, reporting, and commercial risk management.
- Contribute to value engineering and cost-optimisation initiatives.

Exceptional opportunities have arisen for experienced Project Quantity Surveyors to join leading Tier 1 contractors and developers delivering a series of high-rise, design-led residential projects redefining modern living across East, West, South, and North London.
With individual project values reaching £300 million , these flagship schemes will introduce hundreds of new homes within architecturally distinctive towers, featuring luxury private residences, premium amenities, landscaped podium gardens, and world-class wellness facilities .
Each development represents the next generation of London living — technically complex, sustainably designed, and built to exceptional standards — offering ambitious commercial professionals the opportunity to play a key role in landmark projects of national significance .
Reporting directly to a Commercial Manager , you’ll take responsibility for key aspects of cost management, procurement, and contract administration across major work packages.
You’ll ensure financial accuracy, value delivery, and commercial efficiency while collaborating with senior stakeholders to support the successful delivery of these high-rise developments.
- Support the Commercial Manager in overseeing project-wide commercial performance.
- Lead procurement, tendering, subcontractor management, and contract administration .

- Ensure full compliance with company procedures and commercial best practice.
- Collaborate closely with project, design, and technical teams to achieve programme, quality, and financial objectives.
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use projects .
- Proven background in RC frame and residential construction .
- Strong commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and negotiation skills .
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficient in Excel and cost management systems.
