  • Manage the IPC service mailbox and respond to calls.
Job description
Overview

The post holder is an integral part of the Infection Prevention & Control service team, providing administration duties, maintaining IPC supplies, stock ordering, liaising and interacting with other healthcare professionals, patients relatives and staff and signposting people to the appropriate member of staff. The post holder will assist and prepare for regular IPC meetings and support the note taking and follow up actions as required. The post holder will maintain up to date and accurate team diaries which include making appointments, arranging meetings, events and venues.

  • Undertake filing duties and inputting of data around the service needs.
  • Complete other general administration duties as required by the team such as printing, managing the IPC service mailbox, post, answering telephone calls and taking messages.
