Job summary
A healthcare service provider is seeking an experienced Complex Care Healthcare Assistant to offer 1:1 support to a 19-year-old female client with tracheostomy and PEG needs. This role involves providing essential care both at home and in the community, including attending college. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in tracheostomy care and PEG feeding, ensuring a supportive and person-centered approach. The position offers consistent weekday shifts at a competitive hourly rate, along with ongoing clinical support from a specialized team.

Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to a 19-year-old female client.
- Manage tracheostomy care and monitoring.
- Administer PEG feeding and medication.
- Support client in community and during college hours.

Please note: the client travels to college in a car provided by the family.
- Proven experience in tracheostomy care
- Experience with PEG feeding
- Confident with medication administration
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
- Professional, supportive, and person-centred approach
- Consistent weekday shifts
- Approximately 25 hours per week
- Competitive hourly rates
