POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director, Global Total Rewards, the successful candidate will be someone who is passionate about the wholistic concept of Total Rewards, and how this contributes to the “big picture,” and to employees’ satisfaction and success. This role will have a strong OUS focus, while supporting global consistency and project.

In addition, they are versed in equity, compensation and benefits administration and reporting – from nuts and bolts to strategy and philosophy. S/he will be comfortable working with third party vendors, current and former employees, making recommendations, and solving problems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Compensation/Equity
  • Counsels and coaches management in EU/International Markets on global compensation practices.
  • Working closely with our finance team, administer LivaNova equity plan (long-term incentive and employee stock purchase plan)
  • In partnership with our HRIS colleagues, administer, design and improve core and advanced compensation module in our HR system (Workday)
  • Creates analysis, calculations and reports that reflect current and future compensation strategy with a strong focus on having a pulse on trends in APAC, LATAM and Growth Markets in addition to Europe
  • Responsible for completing all salary and policy surveys in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining a comprehensive job inventory and salary structure for all current job profiles and recommends market-based compensation while ensuring internal and external equity
  • Manage and execute special rewards projects (e.g. in alignment with job architecture/pay transparency)
  • Supports the development of any compensation, benefits and/or equity-related trainings and policies.
  • Support the necessary disclosures on executive compensation.
Benefits Administration
  • Support the ongoing compliance with existing and new legal requirements and legislation, obtaining qualified opinions, advising management on needed actions regarding the benefit programs mentioned above.
  • Actively engage in the maintenance and growth of the health and welfare plans, and retirement plans outside the US (Europe and International Markets) working with our OUS broker.
  • Participate in plan review and contribute ideas to plan design changes.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A bachelor’s degree in human resource management, accounting or a related discipline and a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role for a multinational company. Master’s degree and HR/Compensation or Benefits certification preferable.
