What skills and experience we're looking for

Outwood Academy Haydock is an 11-16 academy located in the former mining village of Haydock, within St Helens, Merseyside. Our recent OFSTED inspection in September 2024 rated the school as 'Good'.

We are seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators who can contribute to a respectful, supportive, and efficient examination environment. Responsibilities include ensuring exam procedures are followed, setting out and collecting exam papers and materials, admitting students to exam rooms, invigilating, and potentially reading and scribing for students.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, work independently, serve as a role model, and collaborate effectively within a team. We welcome applications from individuals with a good standard of education, including those seeking flexible work patterns, retirees, or semi-retired professionals. Full training will be provided.
