Job summary
A reputable educational institution in Woodley, Stockport is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support young children's learning. This role involves working closely with pupils in individual and group settings, helping them access a broad curriculum while nurturing their development. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic with experience in promoting confidence and independence among children. A Level 3 qualification in teaching assistance is mandatory. A flexible daily supply contract is offered, beginning in January.

- As an Teaching asssistant you will support pupils individually and in small groups, helping them to access learning across the curriculum and running your own nurture group with SEN children.
Provide targeted support for children with a range of needs
Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Support the school’s values around anti-racism, equity and community engagement
In order to work as an Teaching assistant, you must remain positive, resilient and have a caring approach to working with children
A team player who is reliable, enthusiastic and proactive
Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
NVQ Level 3 in Teaching Assistance

Support personal care routines where needed
Follow EYFS curriculum guidance with teachers and support staff
Previous experience essential
Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification preferred
Confident supporting young children’s early development
