Application Support Analyst

6-Month Contract | Inside IR35 | £400–£500 per day

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Analyst to join a fast-paced trading environment on an initial 6-month contract , with strong potential to extend. The role will require you to be on site 2 days per week in Lond not far from St James' Tube Station.

This role has arisen due to the current application support team being seconded onto a major project scheduled to run for 6–12 months , creating the need for an experienced contractor to backfill BAU support activities and ensure continuity of service.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of application issues , supporting critical business systems within a trade floor / trading environment . This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable operating in high-pressure, time-sensitive settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide BAU application support for front and middle-office and front-office systems
  • Own incidents from initial triage through to resolution
  • Work closely with traders, operations, and technology teams
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent fixes
  • Monitor applications and ensure platform stability
