Job summary
An employee-owned electronics company in North Somerset is looking for a Design Team Lead to manage design processes and drive product development. The ideal candidate must have experience with Power Electronics and High Voltage, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities include mentoring team members, new product implementation, and ensuring adherence to design management protocols. The position offers a competitive salary of around £55,000 and is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team.
Qualifications
- Experience in designing and developing power and control circuits, both digital and analogue.
- Ability to communicate design strategies effectively.
- Proven track record in providing technical support and guidance to teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support power and control circuits.
- Communicate design strategies to assist product development.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the Design team.
- Implement training and development plans for team members.
- Research electronics and power circuits.
Skills
Our client, a fantastic employee owned company in North Somerset, are currently recruiting for a Design Team Lead to join their growing team.
Please note; you must be able to evidence previous work experience with Power Electronics and High Voltage
- Design, development and support of power and control circuits, both digital and analogue
- Communicating design strategies to assist with product development and goals
- Provide technical support, know how and guidance to the Design team
- Training and development plans for team members
- New product implementation as part of the Design Team
- Research of electronics and power circuits
- Understand product requirements and implementation of these in the product and application, whilst understanding commercial and business requirements
Follow departmental processes relating to management of designs and also the company-wide new product development.
Location : Clevedon, North Somerset
Salary : circa £55,000
