A media technology company in Watford is looking for an Editorial & Content Writer to create high-quality content for various businesses. The ideal candidate will have a degree in English or a related field and at least three years of experience in content writing. ES Broadcast is a leading provider of equipment sales, equipment rental and systems integration services to the professional broadcast industry as well as live events, esports, corporate and government sectors. The company is part of the ES Media Group which also includes divisions in cinema equipment rental (Film Store Rental) and library migration and content services Memnon. The Editorial & Content Writer will play a key role in creating content for multiple businesses under the ES Media Group.
The Editorial & Content Writer is responsible for producing high-quality, engaging, and industry-relevant written content across multiple business divisions. This role involves crafting compelling content for different sectors, ensuring consistency and compliance in brand guidelines and messaging, while tailoring content to meet the unique needs of each business. Management of social media platforms for different businesses which are part of the group.
You will have significant experience (at least three years) of content writing. Above all, you must possess exemplary writing skills and be adept at constructing comprehensive content in the formal tone; while also adhering to the Company’s corporate communication style. Meticulous attention to detail combined with excellent spelling, grammar and proof-reading skills are essential. While it is not necessary to have technical knowledge or experience within the broadcasting industry, the ideal candidate should be able to grasp complex technical concepts with regards to producing specific content.
You will be able to interpret detailed, prescriptive briefs and instructions from project engineer, enabling you to identify requirements of the project and our solutions, to write a case study.
