EMEA VAT Compliance Manager interim VAT job in the UK, requires an experienced and confident EMEA VAT Compliance Manager who can assist in the transformation of the compliance processes.
Joining a tax team and wider finance team, during a period of change, the EMEA VAT Compliance and Transformation Manager will commence at the end of August or start of September, for a 6 months period initially, and will form part of the senior VAT team. The duties range across compliance, developing systems and processes, and people management, with key responsibilities being as follows:
VAT Compliance & Oversight: Manage VAT returns, EU sales/purchase listings, annual returns, and Intrastat filings; extract and validate VAT financial data from SAP and accounting systems.
Team & Process Management: Supervise junior compliance team members; oversee onboarding of new compliance activities.
Transformation & Centralisation: Working with outsourcing partner, help drive the centralisation and the ultimate outsourcing of VAT compliance across EMEA; drive automation and process optimisation.
This is a fully remote working role (from within the UK).
To be considered for this position you will be immediately available, or very soon to be available, and be living in the UK. It is essential to have VAT compliance experience at both a hands on and management level, and notably from a UK setting, which has included other jurisdictions.
