The successful candidate will oversee compliance management activities including surveys, insurance inspections, testing, risk‑based remedial works, statutory Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), and accurate certification/record keeping. You will be responsible for conducting statutory audits and quality inspections of third‑party service providers, ensuring contractor competence, identifying risks, and driving continuous improvement in compliance standards. The role also involves offering technical guidance on small to medium projects for our in‑house maintenance providers, Building Maintenance officers and the projects team.

You must be familiar with statutory compliance across key areas including asbestos, electrical, fire, gas, mechanical and water safety, pressure systems, lifting equipment, and lifts. You will have a track record in delivery of compliance within a regulatory building services environment. Experience in managing and reporting on contract performance is required, as is technical knowledge of compartmentation, fire doors, passive fire protection, fire stopping, fire dampers, fire‑resistant shutters and glazing, service risers, and electrical switchgear cupboards.
