Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to sell electrical equipment to engineering and utilities sectors. This full-time remote position covers the Midlands and requires strong B2B sales skills, communication prowess, and a full UK Driving Licence. The salary ranges from £50,000 to £55,000 plus commission and car allowance.

- Manage and expand customer relationships across new and existing accounts.
- Coordinate sales activities and manage sales quotas.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to tendering processes.
Skills
A great opportunity is available for a Field Sales Engineer with a background in selling Electrical Equipment to Engineering, Utilities, Process or Infrastructure markets. This full-time remote role covers the Midlands area.
- Manage and expand customer relationships across new and existing accounts.
- Coordinate sales activities and manage sales quotas.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to tendering processes.
- Support the tendering team and follow up leads provided by service engineers and internal sales teams.
- Attend networking events and trade shows.
- Carry out product demonstrations when appropriate.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with experience in B2B sales within an electrical engineering environment.
- Ability to identify and establish new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong organisational and project management skills.
- Experience selling electrical equipment to the Process/Utilities sector is advantageous.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel regularly to visit clients.
Salary c£50-55K + car allowance + commission
