A leading insurance company in the UK is seeking a Social Media Manager to shape its organic strategy. The role involves creating engaging content, driving social media performance, and collaborating with stakeholders to maximize brand presence across various platforms. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in social media management and insights reporting, along with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities. The position offers a salary of circa £60,000 plus various benefits.

The Social Media Manager is responsible for joint owning our organic strategy across AvivaUK consumer social channels, driving commercial growth for our Direct-to-Consumer Go-to-Market teams. This covers a broad portfolio of products and services, including Car, Home, Travel, Life and Health Insurance, as well as Direct Wealth, Pensions, Savings and Retirement propositions.
You’ll collaborate with marketing and business stakeholders to adopt new channel opportunities, create integrated campaigns, and lead on organic social performance reporting with actionable insights and social listening intelligence.
As a social native, you’ll maximise engagement across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit and Pinterest, leveraging paid boosting, influencer collaborations, and best‑practice content creation. We seek a proactive individual who identifies emerging social opportunities, aligns them to business objectives, and works with partners, agencies and internal teams to deliver a holistic social presence.
