About Foodsteps

Foodsteps is a food sustainability scale-up that's on a mission to empower the food industry to accelerate its journey to net zero. Food systems account for around a third of global greenhouse gas emissions and are the leading driver of biodiversity loss. This makes the food industry one of our most powerful levers for positive environmental change and a more sustainable future. With Foodsteps' technology and in-house experts, food businesses can accurately measure and reduce their environmental impact. Now backed by the global resources of Registrar Corp, we are uniquely positioned to lead the food industry's transition to a net-zero future.

The role

We're looking for a Marketing Manager to own and accelerate our marketing efforts.

This role is pivotal in maintaining momentum in the market, increasing our presence in the UK and Europe food sustainability sector and creating a steady flow of compelling customer success stories and thought leadership. You'll work closely with Sales and Customer Success to turn real customer impact into revenue-driving marketing.

This is a hands-on, builder role: ideal for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution.

The Opportunity
  • Owning and executing the UK marketing strategy in close alignment with Sales, Customer Success and Product
  • Driving pipeline and revenue impact through targeted campaigns and outbound initiatives
  • Creating high-quality content, including customer success stories, case studies, and thought leadership
  • Strengthening Foodsteps presence in the UK and European Food sustainability sector and adjacent industries
  • Planning and executing events (industry events & Foodsteps own events)
  • Managing and optimizing digital marketing channels (SEO, paid search, paid social, email, retargeting)
  • Supporting account-based and outbound lead generation campaigns
  • Acting as a marketing partner for the UK impact and product team, with a strong understanding of customer and buyer dynamics
What you'll bring
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, ideally in B2B and/or scale-up environments
  • A strong writer with extensive experience across multiple formats and channels
  • Proven experience working closely with Sales and Customer Success teams
  • Experience working directly with customers, either client-side or via a strong marketing agency background
  • AI-savvy, with hands-on experience or a strong technical understanding of AI-driven marketing solutions
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels
  • Proficiency of Hubspot, LinkedIn and Google Analytics.
  • A true maker/builder mindset - happy to roll up your sleeves and execute in-house
  • Strong events experience is a plus
  • Basic design skills are a plus
  • Outbound lead generation experience is a plus
  • Domain exposure in sustainability would be an asset
